  • This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Our local friends brought us here and we are so happy they did. The people are super friendly and the food is amazing. We had the chicken madras (perfectly cooked chicken in a ruch, spicy sauce), lamb vindaloo and the chickpea chana masala veggie dish. Everything (including the garlic naan) was perfectly presented and delicious. Go!

  • Yesterday I went with my family to Pani Restaurant in Carvoeiro, and we had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed family dinner. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. Each dish was cooked perfectly, and we could really tell the quality of the ingredients. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great food, great service, and a cozy ambiance. I highly recommend Pani Restaurant to anyone visiting Carvoeiro!

  • I would give ten stars for the view. The views from restaurant was just amazing you can sit relax and have your lunch or dinner. Foods were super yummy and the service was awesome and fast. Would highly recommend if you are craving for some Indian food.

  • Beautiful views and delicious indian fare. Pani restaurant was wonderful. The staff were nice and attentive and the food was great. We ordered the Chutney sampler, Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Garlic Naan and a side of rice. Would recommend if you’re in Carvoeiro!

  • Amazing food really tasty! With spicy and not spicy meal so everyone can find something to eat they also have children menu. The waiters are really helpful and friendly. The rooftop is really nice with shadow and a nice wind touch. I would definitely came back for a romantic time or with friends. 4 years later the food is still amazing and the view too.

  • I am not sure how this restaurant is not the best in Carvoeiro as it simply deserves to be. Walking up the hill to the right of the beach, just past Don Carvoeiro, you are greeted with an elegant and peaceful exterior of Pani. A warm friendly greeting awaits as you enter and begin to enjoy the pleasant smells of the food cooking in the kitchen on this level. Up a flight of stairs and you are on the first dining floor of the restaurant. This is where there are immaculate toilets and disabled access through a small back door typically reserved for restaurant staff. One more floor up and the top floor boasts wonderful views over the Carvoeiro beach under the comfort of a sunshade. The tables are clean and beautifully whilst simply presented. Immediately upon sitting down we were greeted by our server who took our drinks order that promptly arrived. Throughout the meal they were attentive and kept our drinks topped up and table clear. For our meal we ordered a selection of dishes and Naan breads. Each was exceptional. The dishes arrived in their own pot with candle underneath that keeps the dish warm as you take your time to enjoy the meal. The Naan bread we ordered (Garlic and Cheese) was unlike any Naan I have had previously. Thin, almost like a Piadina, and filled throughout with cheese these were incredible. The Lamb dishes were incredible. Not fatty or tough but instead melt in the mouth and delicious. The menu is split into sections and each of the dishes can be customised to your preference of spice, just ask for it. We had a delightful meal and the combination of service, location, and food easily makes this the best Indian restaurant you will ever eat at. Thank you Surjit!

  • An atmosphere and a wide variety of food of exquisite quality. The onion bajji with yoghurt sauce was unbelievable; the curries are authentic and offer mild to really, really hot options. That they serve a perfect naan bread was no longer a surprise. The service is very friendly and quick. We will come back soon.
